ISO 450012018 LEAD AUDITOR COURSE
Course Introduction
This CQI/IRCA-accredited ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course is delivered in partnership with SEQM (UK). It equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills to conduct and lead first, second, and third-party OH&S audits in line with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.
Through interactive sessions, case studies, role plays, and mock audits, participants will gain hands-on auditing experience and prepare for the IRCA online exam.

Day 1–2
- ISO 45001:2018 framework, principles & benefits.
- Accreditation & certification processes (UKAS, IRCA).
- Health & safety fundamentals, hazards, and risk assessment.
- Safe systems of work, workplace hazards, and control measures.
Day 3
- ISO 45001 clauses (Context, Leadership, Planning, Support, Operation).
- Emergency preparedness & response.
- Performance evaluation, improvement & continual improvement.
- Audit principles, roles & responsibilities.
Day 4
- Audit process: initiation, planning, conducting, reporting & closure.
- Audit programme management.
- Practical exercises & role-play audits.
Day 5
- Interview techniques & effective communication.
- Evidence gathering & reporting non-conformities.
- Auditor competence & professional conduct.
- Mock audit, exam preparation & course revision.
- Final IRCA online exam (to be taken within 30 days).
